The Three Stages of the Continuum

Rather than rushing students into advanced portfolio preparation before they are ready, The Continuum gently guides them through three core developmental stages:

• Discovery (Enjoyment & Pacing): For our younger or newer students, the focus is on exploring creative processes at their own beautiful pace. We nurture their imagination and emotional literacy in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
• Foundation (Technical Mastery): As students mature, we introduce structured skill-building. They learn crucial technical disciplines—such as observation, composition, and medium control—building their self-esteem and visual storytelling capabilities.
• Pathway (Admission Readiness): For students ready to specialize, this peak stage focuses on technical mastery, reflective journaling, and mental fortitude. We meticulously prepare students targeting DSA for visual arts (School of      the Arts Admission), AEP Admission, IGCSE, IB      pathways, or simply advanced General Art Development.

  The Creative Compass is the gateway to our Creative Continuum of learning. While our overarching roadmap covers students ages 7 to 17, your child can commence their journey at whatever age they are starting.

This 90-minute high-fidelity virtual audit via Zoom gives Lincoln the opportunity to conduct a technical gap analysis, a mental resilience check, and map out a bespoke Artistic Roadmap for your child. This consultation prevents you from rushing into heavy commitments and ensures your child's creative journey begins with absolute clarity.

Avoid the stress of unstructured classes and high-stakes guessing. Following The Creative Compass session, if we agree and determine that rigorous admission preparation would be too rushed or stressful for the child right now, Lincoln will gently suggest reverting to an un-rushed mainstream art programme so your child could continue to enjoy art and learn at their own individual pace with us. Whatever the outcome may be, a portion of the fee for the audit can be used to offset against your first term enrolment for any of our class term packages!
